Joint Accreditation Statement

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Children’s National Hospital. Children’s National Hospital is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.  Children’s National Hospital Accreditation Provider# 4008362.  

ANCC Credit

Children’s National Hospital designates this activity for a maximum of 16.25 LIVE ANCC contact hours.

Social Work Credit

As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Children’s National Hospital is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this course receive a maximum of 16.25 LIVE Ethics continuing education credits.

Contact Hours will be provided for each full day attended. No partial CE credit given. Must attend all sessions on one or both days.

Successful Completion

Successful completion to obtain Continuing Education contact hours includes:

  • Registration for symposium and pay any required fee.
  • Attendance at all sessions on one or both days.
  • Attestation of attendance for the day contact hours are being claimed.
  • Completion of the online evaluation for each day attended.

Evaluations and Awarding of Contact Hours

Electronic evaluations and contact hour certificates will be made available to participants at the end of each day.
