Applying for a Scholarship
Scholarships
The Ethics of Caring® (EoC) is committed to providing education for nurses and to help develop the next generation of nursing ethics leaders. Since 2025 we have added scholarships for our social work and chaplain colleagues.
For the 2026 National Nursing Ethics Conference, EoC has continued to provide a variety of scholarships to attend the two-day conference. Funds for these scholarships have been provided by generous donors including: Dr. Ann Hamric’s Memorial Fund, the Dr. Andrew Jameton’s Memorial Fund, Dr. Carol Taylor, Dr. Kathleen Barta, Dr. Theresa Drought, Linda Tigert; past speakers who donate their honorariums including Dr. Connie Ulrich and Dr. Christine Grady; and many ethics education supporters including Katherine Brown-Saltzman, Sarah Sumner, and Lynn McCormick.
If you are interested in making a donation to support a nurse or other healthcare professional to attend the conference, please consider a tax-deductible donation.
Learn more about making a donation here. We encourage directed donations from retirement distributions as one way to support ethics education. Please contact us at ethicsofcaringnnec@gmail.com and we will reach out to share our mission and answer any questions you may have.
