Connections Breakfast

2026 NNEC Connections Breakfast

Welcome to the 2026 National Nursing Ethics Conference!

Whether you are a student, early career nurse ethicist, social worker, scholarship recipient, faculty, or first-time attendee, we are thrilled to have you. In the spirit of “Building Moral Community”, we’ve organized special interest groups for a Connections Breakfast on the first morning of the conference, and we would like to invite you to join one. This is an opportunity to meet others right at the start of the conference, share experiences, and build relationships.

The Details
Who: Students, Social Workers, etc.
When: Thursday, April 16, join us anytime during breakfast from 6:30-7:45 a.m.

Why Join Us?
Our theme this year focuses on building a “moral community,” and that starts with shared breakfast and good conversation. During our time together, you will:

  • Make connections and learn who at the conference shares your particular interests.
  • Share pro-tips for navigating the conference (like the “new table every day” rule to expand your circle).
  • Encourage support for those new to nursing ethics practice or the NNEC community.

Table Assignments
Early Career – Table #1
Social Workers – Table #2
Scholarship Recipients – Tables #3, 4, 5
Faculty – Table #6
First Time Attendees – Tables #7, 8, 9
Students – Table #10

If you have any questions before we meet, please don’t hesitate to ask.

See you Thursday morning!

Warm regards,
2026 NNEC Planning Committee
